Hendrik Cammann · About

Hi, I'm Hendrik.

I've spent nine years defining the structural UX decisions most users never see - and making them scale through design systems: token architecture, component libraries, and governance workflows that let entire teams move faster without breaking consistency.

I've taught UX design at university level, led technical projects, and served as Product Owner. The PO experience changed how I design: I stopped thinking in screens and started thinking in outcomes, trade-offs, and delivery.

§ 04 - What I'm looking for

I want to work at the intersection of design, engineering, and business — defining UX architecture that gives teams shared direction, building the design system infrastructure that makes it scale, designing the working processes that connect departments, and exploring where emerging technology (currently: AI in design systems) takes the discipline next.

Side A · Want

What I'm looking for.

  • A senior role spanning UX architecture AND design system leadership — treated as one discipline, not two
  • Multi-team scope where my work crosses design, engineering, and product simultaneously
  • A team that invests in process design and emerging-tech exploration, not just feature delivery
  • Hybrid or remote · Germany / EU time zones

— the role-fit list

Side B · Decline

What I'm not looking for.

  • Pure visual design or marketing-page work
  • Solo IC contractor roles disconnected from team integration
  • Roles where I'd be expected to substitute for usability/research experts (I work alongside them, not in their place)
  • "First DS hire" at a 30-person startup

— the role-fit filter

Ready when you are .

If the fit feels right - senior UX engineering, design systems ownership, or a strategic role where both halves matter - I'd rather have the conversation than leave it to a form.
